What documents do children need to travel?

All minors should have the following documents:

1. Minors traveling with people other than their parents:

● Valid ID or passport

● Birth certificate or family book

● Notarized permit granted by both parents

2. Minors traveling with both parents:

● Valid ID or passport

3. Minors traveling with one of their parents:

● Valid ID or passport, as the case may be

● Birth certificate or family book

● Notarized permit granted by the parent who is not traveling

In case the child's father or mother is absent, a travel permit granted by a Family Court is required. If any of them is dead, a death certificate is required. If a Family Court has granted the child's guardianship to one of their parents or to a third party, the child may not travel abroad except with a notarized permit of the guardian.
